My bucket list moment: Speaking things into existence (1st time riding Amtrak)
SAY IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
I knew one day I would ride the train. I didn't think it would happen 2017. Everything lined up perfectly for me to ride the train last year. When I saw the train 2007, I said " One day I am going to ride the train" then Boom! 2017 my butt was on the train. This trip taught me I could speak other things I want into existence.
Just me and my window seat. Rolling one deep.
I rode the train by myself, and I had the best time. In the past, it was times I wanted to do things and go to places, but I was afraid to go by myself. I would ask friends to come and sometimes they couldn't always make it. With the train ride I was excited and, in my mind, nothing was going to stop me from riding the train. So, I rode it by myself.
Ever since I turned 30, I said" I'm not limiting myself from doing the things I want to do". I had a blast and for those that want to try something new are go somewhere by yourself make sure its SAFE and do your RESEARCH. My motto is “LIFE IS TOO short" do what makes you happy.
Who wants to ride the train?
I treated myself to a cabin. It was cute and cozy, and I had privacy. When you purchase a roomette your food is covered in the café.
(Amtrak pricing) ~~I paid $125 for a one-way ticket. I stayed in a cute, cozy roomette.
(food)~~ I had a bacon cheeseburger. It was okay for train food.
(Luggage)~~ I was a little nervous at first because I thought my hard-shell luggage was going to be too big but when I got to the train station it was ok. You can bring a large suitcase.
My overall experience was great.
LIFE IS TOO SHORT, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
SPEAK WHAT YOU WANT INTO EXISTENCE!
